Warcodia - Warcodes June 11 2025 Update; In-depth look and review

Warcodes finally had its first major update of 2025! With this update many new features were added, some old features received shiny new upgrades and others were discarded. We take an in-depth look at what’s new, what’s to come, and give our review on Warcodia.

First things first, what’s new when you open the Warcodes app. You’ll see the same loading screen but after that an all new UI (User Interface) with color and personality brings Warcodia to life.

Warcodia

On your screen you’ll see a lot of new buttons and an all new town with an Arena, Master’s Arena, Private Games hub, and Celli’s Market. The Arena is where you’ll find the core KOTH (King of the Hill) game. The Master’s Arena is where you’ll find modified versions of KOTH, right now we’re seeing 3 hour KOTH lobbies and most likely special events will also appear here. Private Games opens up the private Games menu that we’re all used to (unless you’re a new player). And Celli’s Market is the new Marketplace where you’ll find 5 separate shops that help categorize buyable items and chambers.

Back on the home screen of Warcodia there are 2 new PvE challenges that replace the old Daily Challenge. To get them you’ll have to swipe right and left on your screen. This isn’t very clear but if you’re paying close attention there is a quick fading hand at the bottom of the map that tries really hard to show you that this is possible. Swiping left will bring you to the Wraithwoods where you can battle 5v5 against some scary looking monsters. Swiping right will bring you to the Cursed Forest where you can battle 3v3 against some smaller non-intimidating monsters. We think these 2 new PvE focused area’s will open up Warcodes to a much broader and more adventure fueled audience. For those who become overwhelmed by the intense cutthroat PvP elements of Warcodes this is a much needed feature.

The Warcodia Badge at the bottom left will bring you back to this screen from any other menu by tapping it. This is a very handy feature when you’re a few menus deep and want to get back to the action quickly.

You’ll find your Monsters in the monsters badge at the bottom. Everything looks and acts the same in this menu which is great for experienced players and easy to navigate for new players. We would still love to see a search monster by name feature but maybe that’ll come in a future update.

The Inventory and Chambers badges open the same as they did before as well. The major change in the inventory is that it now sorts your items for you and the major change for the chambers area is that they are larger and easier to tap. We also love that the seconds digits on the timer counts down dynamically.

The all new scanner has a lot to explore. Starting with the upgrades you receive as you level your scanner. In the stats menu located at the top of the scanner you’ll find all the scanner attributes you can manipulate.

Let’s go through them:

Scanner Level - Is your scanner level.

Spawns Remaining - Shows how many barcodes you can scan/monsters you can spawn. This is an all new feature that we think helps to keep the level 1 Locations fair for newer players.

Spawn Recharge Rate - This is the rate at which your remaining spawns will refill 1 at a time. If you watch closely there is a loading wheel next to Spawns Remaining that fills up in real time.

Loot Efficiency - This is the rate or efficiency at which you’ll find loot per scan. Through our test, at 110.3% Loot Efficiency we were able to find 4-5 items within 30 scans, taking breaks to allow Loot Degradation to to refill back to 100.

Loot Degradation - This is your chance to find loot minus your Loot Drain Per Scan. You will not always find loot when this is at 100 and this goes down per scan not per item found.

Loot Recharge Rate - This is how fast your Loot Degradation will recharge when not scanning.

Loot Drain Per Scan - This is the percentage your Loot Degradation will reduce per scan.

Token Efficiency - This is the rate or efficiency at which you’ll earn tokens per scan. At base 100% we receive 11-12 Tokens per scan.

Token Degradation - As this decreases you will earn less Tokens per scan.

Loot Recharge Rate - This is how fast your Token Degradation will recharge when not scanning.

Loot Drain Per Scan - This is the percentage your Token Degradation will reduce per scan.

The plus symbols above the scan button is where you will place Scanner Items. Some are instant use and others will remain there for a limited time.

The 3 big buttons are purely decorative, for now.

The Scans menu at the top beside the Stats menu is where you’ll find your unused barcodes and the all new Products menu is where you’ll find items you can buy from Celli’s Market that will spawn in monsters without barcodes.

Celli’s Market

Celli’s Market (The Marketplace) now has 5 different categorized shops (named after some familiar KOTH players). Heavylon sells secondary weapons and the Battle Runestone, Fives sells Scanner Items, Caribrew sells Potions of all types, Froot sells equip able items, and Talia sells Chambers and Chamber items.

The newest items can be found with Fives. Scanner items are all new to this update, the Chaos Matter Canister will recharge your Spawns Remaining  instantly and is a one time use and the Barcode Purge resets the cost for reactivating barcodes.

Celli’s Market (The Marketplace) is no longer available from any menu but it does stay open when moving to another menu from the Warcodia menu and back. All items are limited now and run out of stock, we think this will help stop players from dominating the lower level Locations with fully equipped monsters.

Back on the home screen, there is a shopping cart symbol at the top of the screen. This is where you’ll find the Limited Items, Limited packs, Tokens (for real money), and Deck Expansions. (The plus symbol beside your Tokens will also bring you to this menu)

Next to the shopping cart is an all new setting menu, here you’ll find an option to turn on or off “Confirm Healing Cost” (Turn this off if you want to quickly heal your monsters when battling for KOTH Locations)

and the option to show NSFW content. (The game now verifies your age when you first sign up)

Your profile picture will bring you into a new menu that is currently under construction. With a message displayed teasing Trophies, Collectable Monsters, and other cosmetic goodies you’ll be able to customize in a future update. At the bottom there are 2 new buttons, Stats will show you your Player Stats which we love to see, and Friends is an all new feature to add people and strangers you want to play with. This feature is still under construction but does show their profile picture nice and big so make sure to choose your best looking monster to feature here.

The June 11 2025 update is absolutely stunning and brings personality to Warcodes, solidifying itself as an interactive RPG-like experience. We’re not saying we didn’t enjoy the simplicity of scrolling the menus and spawning in monsters but Warcodia is a much needed refresher for new and old players.

Don’t hesitate to send us a message and let us know if we got anything wrong in this article or to let us know your opinion on the update.

We will go into more details about specific item, features, stats, and what's next as we learn more.

Thank you for reading.
