Warcodes Update 2025 - New Visuals Interpretation

Warcodes new update for 2025 will finally be released this June and new visuals have been released on the discord. Here’s what we think we can gather from the new visuals. 

The first thing we notice is the colors and artwork. From a black screen with simple menus to this is a huge contrast. Warcodia looks to be an ever expanding world and we’re excited to be a part of its lore. 

At the top we see that the player profile picture has gotten a lot bigger, a much needed upgrade for those of us who take pride in our favorite creature. The new profile picture has a number underneath it as well. We are interpreting this as your player level. This would be an all new feature for the coming update. 

Next to that in the top menu bar we can see player token count with a plus button. Most likely this will open a shop to purchase more tokens for real money. To the right of the plus button is a bell symbol which is typically used in most apps and websites to deliver notifications to the user. Moving over we can see a shopping cart, this is most likely going to be where the real money shop has moved. It looks like the in-game market where we can purchase and possibly sell items for in-game tokens has moved to a new location labeled “Celli’s Market”. And the last button on the top looks to be a settings button. We are excited to see what type of settings we’ll be able to tinker with. 

The banner underneath the top menu bar looks to be an area/city name. This could indicate multiple areas and cities to come. We’re thinking this could be coming on a future update. And to top it off the envelope to the left of the banner says “news” underneath it, indicating a place for game updates that can be delivered straight to the player. This is a major and much needed change due to information about updates and other features are somewhat exclusive to the discord or posted on multiple social media platforms. A more direct and condensed approach to developer updates is very much welcomed. 

In the middle of our screens we see 2 Arena’s. A regular “Arena” and a “Master’s Arena”. Our guess is the regular Arena will host the game we all know and love, KOTH (King of the Hill), and the Master’s Arena will host Special Events or maybe a new form of 1V1 battling. On the left we see a new place for entering Private Games. 

At the bottom, starting from the right, we see a Warcodia badge. This could be where the game map will be accessible. Allowing us to change cities or locations.

Next to the Warcodia Badge we see a button for our Monsters, the scanner, our inventory, and our chambers. The scanner has a new look and also a “Level”. This was teased in the earlier update communication. We are very excited to see how this affects scanning and item finding.

The new scanner

Moving into the topic of the scanner, this looks very well done. You can tell the developer is working hard to give existing players an all new experience and giving new players a lot more to do from the beginning. 

Looking at this more in depth we have a Stats button where we’ll most likely be able to see information like, how many barcodes we’ve scanned, how many items we’ve discovered, maybe even how many of each type of monster we’ve scanned. We love this feature, it gives a sense of ownership to each individual player.

Then we have the Scans button, this is probably where our unused scanned barcodes have been moved and beside that we see a Products button where we think we’ll be able to find a list of all the products we’ve already used. We’re not sure how this information will affect gameplay but it is very interesting to see. 

The new layout of the scanner brings some all new exciting features. There are 4 “+” symbols, indicating a place to add some all new items that will affect how our scanners will operate. Maybe we’ll get some items that will increase the likelihood of finding a certain type of monster or item(s). Also we see 3 big colorful buttons that were teased to change what the scanner will produce when scanning barcodes. Our guess is the Purple Button with the diamond is for item hunting, the Blue Button with the cool target symbol will be for spawning new monsters, and the Yellow Button with the drum symbol has left us confused. Our speculation would be it will be used for hunting scanner specific items.   

We think this new update will increase new player retention by a lot.
