Warcodes Creature Types Breakdown background for barcodearchive

Warcodes creatures are made up of 14 different types split into Elemental, Physical, and Energy groups.

The Elemental group has 6 types;

Water, Fire, Electric, Earth, Wind, and Ice.

The Physical group has 3 types;

Metal, Poison, and Radiation.

The Energy group has 5 types;

Magic, Light, Dark, Spirit, and Psychic.

Each creature will spawn as 1 of 14 types. These types also extend into your creatures resistance and weakness. Each creature will spawn with 1 of each, a resistance and a weakness. As you level up your creature, you’ll be able to add more resistances and weaknesses. Each creature can only have 1 extra attack type. Some barcodes will spawn creatures with no weaknesses, these are called “N/A’s”.

All types have their typical weaknesses and resistances but on occasion a creature will spawn with non-typical weaknesses and resistances.

For example:

A Fire type will typically spawn with a Water weakness and an Earth resistance. But your creature could spawn with non-typical weaknesses and resistances like, a Fire type with Earth weakness and Dark resistance.

Non-Typical creature type elements are best for battle. This is because it might be harder for people to attack your creature with their typical type monster due to the unusual weakness and resistance of your non-typical creature. Also, by adding additional resistances to your non-typical creature using items, you can really set your creature up to be extremely resistant.

There is a specific item that will really boost your non-typical multi-resistant creature called the Aegis Stone. Arguably the best item in the game, it subtracts an extra die from the opponent's attack if your creature has a resistance to their creature's attack type.

For example:

Your Fire type creature spawned with Psychic weakness and Water resistance, the first item you give it would be an Electric or Earth secondary attack item, as you will most likely be using your creature to attack Water types due to your resistance. As your creature levels up to level 3, you add 2 items that give your creature Earth resistance and a color change, and Dark resistance at the cost of your HP. When your creature reaches level 5 you give it a Large Celestial Shard, which adds an additional attack die at the cost of reducing your max damage by 3 and an Aegis Stone. Your creature will now use 1 extra attack die against creatures that are weak against Fire and your secondary attack type and your opponents creatures will use 2 less attack die when attacking with Water, Earth, or Dark type creatures. Thanks to your Aegis Stone.

Tip*

The best place to visit for a wide variety of codes is the library. Everything is already sorted for you into categories and you don’t have to look awkward scanning barcodes as libraries usually aren't packed full of people. We here at BarcodeArchive.com aim to be your online library for barcodes to use in Warcodes!

N/A weakness or creatures with no weakness are hardest to find. The best place to find them, if you don’t want to go hunting through your local grocery store or library, is the Warcodes Discord for now. BarcodeArchive.com will soon launch a NA’s page. So be sure to check back from time to time for new barcodes on our Explore the Elements page https://www.barcodearchive.com/exploretheelements or use our chat and email function to send us requests or questions you may have. The site is updated everyday with new creature types.
