Warcodes is a mobile game that creates unique creatures using barcodes. This Warcodes Beginners Guide will give you the knowledge you’ll need to get started and begin understanding the major details of this game.
When you first download the app and open it you’ll need to create a username. This is the name everyone will see when battling in the main arena of this game KOTH (King of the Hill).
Your next task is easy, start scanning. Lucky for you, you're in the right place. Here at BarcodeArchive we’ve compiled only working barcodes for Warcodes mobile game.
If you want to start with something more specific you’ll want to visit our Explore the Elements page. Explore the Elements | Warcodes Barcode Database
Once you’ve spawned your first monster(s), you’ll want to join your first KOTH event. This arena is divided into 5 locations. Location 1 is where you’ll begin. In Location 1 you can only play level 1 creatures. In Location 5 you can play up to level 5 creatures. This means you can attack the creature on Location 5 but you’ll most likely lose because after level 1 you can start adding items to buff and debuff your creatures for advantages. For example, some items will give you health at the cost of your agility. At level 1 you can add a secondary attack for your creature. This will give you a light advantage over other players.
Spawning unique creatures is the main attraction of this game. Each creature will spawn with an elemental attack that decides how it will perform against other creatures. Each creature also has 4 main stats. Health, Agility, Accuracy, and Damage. Agility, Accuracy, and Damage use dice to decide who wins in battle.
Your creature's health can range from 26-79 and depending on what health your creature starts with they’ll receive a certain set of stats.
Agility is your creature's defence ability. A creature with high agility (3 Stars) will roll a D8 die. A creature with moderate agility (2 Stars) will roll a D6 die. A creature with low agility (1 Star) will roll a D4 die. Every creature can only have 1 agility die. Items can be used to lower your agility roll in exchange for health. There are no items that raise agility.
Accuracy is your creature's chance to hit. If your accuracy roll is higher than your opponents agility roll you’ll do damage, if it’s lower you’ll do no damage. A creature with high accuracy (3 Stars) will roll a D10 die. A creature with moderate accuracy (2 Stars) will roll a D8 die. A creature with low accuracy (1 Star) will roll a D6 die. Items can be used to increase your accuracy roll. There are no items that lower your accuracy.
Damage is the amount of health your creature will remove from your opponent's creature every turn. Damage is the only stat that uses 2 dice. Every creature starts with 2 damage dice the amount of dice can be increased or decreased based on weaknesses, resistances, and items. A creature with high damage (3 Stars) will roll 2x D12 dice. A creature with moderate damage (2 Stars) will roll 2x D10 dice. A creature with low damage (1 Star) will roll 2x D8 dice. The most amount of damage dice a creature can attack with is 6 and the lowest is 1. If your creature is weak to your opponent's element they will attack with 1 extra die. If you have a resistance to your opponent's creature element, they will have 1 less die to attack with.
Warcodes isn’t a pay to win game but it is 100% a pay to survive game. You’ll want to add more monster slots and purchase items using the in game currency to get into the higher ranked games and special events. This can all be done without spending money but will take a very long time.
In my opinion it is absolutely worth it to spend a little money to get into the higher ranked games and have enough monster slots for creature creation.
